It took me years to realise that near-empty Marmite jars should be kept on their side so you can the last of it out more easily. That’s why the jar is flat is the sides
@dick_turpin and did you also know that when the marmite gets all clogged around the lid and you can't get the top off. That's the marmite telling you it's not fit for consumption.
